Northwoods Girls Golf Inc. is hosting the annual St. Germain Woman’s Fall Golf Classic, a four-woman scramble, on Thursday, Sept. 6 at St. Germain Golf Course.
The entry fee is $85 per person or $340 per team, which includes lunch and a sit-down dinner after golf at the Whitetail Inn. Registration starts at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. To obtain an entry form, call Mary Ann at 715-479-1652.
This year, Marthaler Chevy/Buick of Minocqua has offered a car for a hole-in-one and certificates for Travis Mathew golf merchandise when test driving a new car.
Since 2005, many area businesses and individuals have been champions of the girls’ golf program fundraiser scrambles hosted at area golf courses. This year, St. Germain Golf Course will host the annual fundraiser to help support and the Northwoods Girls Golf Co-Op Team, consisting of high school girls from area high schools.
Northwoods Girls Golf Inc. initiated the Ladies Professional Golf Association Youth Program for girls and boys ages 7 to 17 that is presently being taught at St Germain Golf Course by Pro Margo Rogers.
Northwoods Girls Golf Inc. was formed August 2010 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to promote interest in youth golf for girls so they learn to play golf, build friendships and sample competition in a positive and supportive learning environment.
