Charles A. Schieb, age 78, of Minocqua, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Avanti Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on Feb. 25, 1941, the son of Carl and Viola (nee Taylor) Schieb. Chuck was a known handyman who held various maintenance jobs; he referred to himself as a “Jack of all trades.” He took great pride in being named the Honorary Mayor of Minocqua. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Viola and sisters, Marjorie (Don) Marsolek, Eileen (Neal) White and Mary Lou Paulson. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Rosemary (Tom) Shannon, Scott (Patti) Marsolek, Diana (Bill) Roggenbach, Gary (Colleen) Marsolek, Kathleen (Dale) Eggleston, David (Lori) White, Kathleen (Paul) Schroeder, Michael (Lisa) White, Mark (Sharon) Paulson, Wendy (Kevin) Entwistle and Holly Paulson and brother-in-law, John Paulson. Chuck is further survived by many great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Avanti Health and Rehabilitation and to Ascension/Ministry Hospice for the loving care they gave Chuck. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minocqua, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
