Eric (Ricky) Daniel Ross, age 41, of Minocqua, formerly of Lake Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 16, 2018. Eric was born in Minocqua on June 14, 1977 to the late Ronald and Barbara (Myslak) Ross. He worked as a roofer for over 15 years at Metrich Roofing.

Eric is survived by his loving and beautiful daughter, Cheyanne Ross, age 13, and his greatest companion that was always by his side, the family dog, Bear. Eric is also survived by his four siblings, Kimberly (Ross) Simonis of St. Germain, nephews Harrison Anderson, Shawn Simonis and niece Brittney Simonis; Ronald (Jenny) Ross of Woodruff, nephew Ronald Ross, niece Megan (Merlin) Hunter; Michael Ross of Tomahawk, niece Marissa Ross; and Joseph (Crystal) Ross of Crandon, nephew Joseph Ross, Jr., nieces Jennifer and Jessica Ross.

Eric was a very loving and great father. He enjoyed spending time with Cheyanne, who he loved with his whole heart. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and anything outdoors.

Eric was best known for his loving and generous heart, his laugh (giggle) and his calm demeanor. Eric will be greatly missed by his family and many friends, who loved him dearly.

There will a Celebration of Life for Eric (Ricky) on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at the Lake Tomahawk Community Building, starting at 1 p.m. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Anyone that has a funny story about Eric may share it at that time.
