Judy Lynn Herrick passed away the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 14 2019, due to sudden health complications. Born March 6, 1947 to Richard Herrick (late) and Oneida (Wilson) Herrick, she was then followed by three brothers and three sisters, to whom she will be extremely and fondly missed. Judy was a proud and sometimes crazy mother of and survived by three sons and one daughter, David, Jason, Joshua and Kanya from her first husband Raymond J. Sloan. Judy was a woman with great compassion for her family and friends. She, like many of her time, put her family and home before herself. She took great pleasure, and not always mind you, to providing fantastic meals, neatly folded clothes (which in her mind were never put away properly) and a loving environment that simply could never be matched. Her many priceless teachings and solid life examples have transcended through all of her children and will forever touch her eight grandchildren. Needless to say, her opinions on how her grandchildren should be raised will be miss but certainly never forgotten. Judy spent most of her life in the Northwoods of Wisconsin but always gravitated towards the warm weather of Florida where she lived for the past decade. While living there she reunited with a close childhood friend and crush, Joe Colquette, whom she married June 20, 2014. They resided happily in Florida enjoying the warmth of the beach and keeping several seafood establishments afloat with her oyster consumption. Words cannot describe how she will be missed, she was one of a kind. Private family services will be held.
