To the Editor:
I often have the opportunity to discuss politics with many people. I hear a frequent refrain, “We need new leadership in this country.” I agree. We will vote for president in 2016 but we do not vote for the leadership of the U.S. Senate or the U.S. House of Representatives.
Guess what? We do not live in Nevada or Ohio. We do not live in
California or Kentucky. There is a limited amount we can do about these positions.
There is an old saying, “take care of your own backyard.” All politics are local. You will drive yourself crazy if you try to fight all of our nation’s problems. What can I do? Take care of the state in which you live.
We live in the great state of Wisconsin where we have leaders of great integrity who are fighting to improve the quality of life for all of us.
Our leadership team of Governor Walker and Lt. Governor Kleefisch is making the hard decisions and creating policies that are moving Wisconsin forward. If the state treasury has surplus, money is returned to the Taxpayer, what a concept!
In the 7th Wisconsin Congressional District, Representative Sean Duffy is taking the fight to Washington, D.C. He is armed with Wisconsin common sense, a commodity that is in short supply in D.C. To be effective, our representative must have a working knowledge of the problem, the ability to forge solutions and the vision to Restore America. Sean Duffy is that leader.
We can’t solve all of the problems but we can take care of Wisconsin! Do this by re-electing Governor Walker, Lt. Governor Kleefisch and Congressman Duffy.
You do this by talking to your family and friends. You make sure they are registered to vote. You join and work with your county Republican Party. You vote.
