Impeach Obama? What for?

To the Editor:

Republican clowns and Tea Party crazies want to sue and impeach President Obama – Why? – Because he has repaired the economy that the Bush-Republicans left in shambles; because the Affordable Care act is up and running smoothly and insuring millions more Americans; because of Obama’s new emissions rules – the most important environmental initiative since the Clean Air Act; because Obama’s regulatory reforms of Wall Street which have enraged the big banks.

Or is it because President Obama continues to lay waste to the Republicans’ best laid plans and relentless sabotage.

Bob... I think we'd need the whole paper to list the problems associated with Obamacare.

And there is no way that this white elephant will survive in it's present form. The illegalities we experienced during it's roll out continue to be exposed to this day with Obama bypassing the law as it suits his mood and agenda.

Those folks who think this "Donkey will fly" in the long term are in for a huge disappointment when it crashes.

Believe me when I say as a licensed Agent for 13 years the health insurance industry really did need a good kick in the butt and I initially gave Obama credit for at least tackling the issue... but as the details were released at a snail's pace it quickly became obvious this was going to be a disaster with winners and losers chosen by it's liberal authors to fit their leftist agenda.

At some point Bob both parties will be forced to "check their partisan egos" at the door and fix this nightmare to the benefit of all legal Americans.

Good luck with that happening any time soon eh Bob?

Good comments Don, but you forgot to speak on Ron Lowe's opinion that Obamacare " was up and running smoothly". My goodnes, what world does this guy live in to believe that hogwash. Obamacare is only running smoothly for the folks who are getting the free stuff (subsidies). Those who must pay for the free stuff don't see it that way at all.

Mr. Thompson, since I didn't explain "my position with facts" why Mr Lowe was wrong AS YOU DEMANDED OF ME, why don't you go ahead and "explain" to us all how he's CORRECT on each of his pronouncements... Go ahead, we will be waiting and remember, you wanted facts from me so we want the same from you.

Ron, Democrats have brought up the subject of impeachment 20 times as often as the evil Republicans according to thehill.com. And It
is obvious to anyone that Dems are using it to light a fire under their base for the midterms.

And as much as most Americans would like to see Mr. Oblaima take a permanent vacation or join the PGA's "Special tour for hopelessly bad golfers" I'm afraid we'll have to allow him Cart Blanche to further decimate our country until more of you temporarily blind loyalists finally remove your welding goggles and decide to see the light.

Even leading members of his party and past administration officials are recognizing this guy has been way over his head and is so obviously incompetent.

Time to join millions of other Democrats Ron and take the Obama sticker off the bumper of your Toyota Prius. Why not embrace common sense for just one election term, you'll find it doesn't hurt at all.

And as for the stock market what in the world do you think will happen when the fed stops pumping nearly a trillion dollars a year into it?
Hold on to your shorts!

And just who Ron do you think received the most campaign money from Wall Street of Any President in the last 20 years? It was your Hero Obama... kinda makes his war on Wall Street as phony as the so called war on women don't ya think?

And oh Ron you may want to talk to the Coal Miners about the EPA... But caution you'll want to wear ear plugs my friend.

Mr Meinert doesn't like to explain his positions with facts, just emotion and propaganda. Hence his quote "for those who understand, no explanation is needed...for those who do not understand, no explanation is possible" which shows that he is unable to explain. It also likely shows that he is a member of the Right Wing mainstream media echo chamber.

It's amazing how inconsistently the application of criticism is.

It's really an odd place to be positioned, as it shows quite a bit of ignorance and arrogance.

I don't mind if Republicans want to take Obama through impeachment hearings, but I suspect they would mostly come to the same conclusion as they did with the Benghazi report.

Doug: He actually turned the country around to the benefit of everyone. One thing for certain is he LOVED OUR COUNTRY AS COMPARED TO THIS LAWLESS JERK AND HIS BRIDE.

I agree the king should not be impeached. He should be executed for treason.

- Failure to adequately protect the border and the country.
- Systematic reduction in the armed forces designed to make us less than equal to and vulnerable to other world powers.
- Ultimate contempt for our long time ally Israel.
- Fostering Government corruption and favoritism as demonstrated by the IRS scandal.
- And last but not least, spending money and time on his personal vacations while the country suffers. He is indeed a self-centered community organizer in way over his head. But, he doesn't know it, and either do you idiot liberals.

There is more, but hopefully you will see the light.

Gary, 35% polled in the same poll also said that Reagan was the best since WWII. Laughable.

"clowns" and "crazies". ahhhhhh, the name calling because one may happen to disagree with you. lovely. The list of reasons for his massive failure as a leader is long. Obamacare - Fast and Furious - Solyndra - AP telephone records - The IRS abuse - The VA Scandal - Benghazi - releasing 5 al Qaeda terrorists from GTMO for someone who walked away from his unit - IMMIGRATION problems - and he hears about them on the news...ya know.. The list continues to grow, he has a couple more years to make it worse.

Yes, a few far right pundits have called for impeachment (very few). It's the left wing media that has been playing the subject up to coax their progressive minions into coughing up donations. The subject has been mentioned over 400 times in left media and less than 40 times elsewhere.

I think Charles Krauthammer has figured out the strategy here. The left leaders are pushing the President into issuing an Executive Order to allow all the the illegal immigrants flooding the southern border to be given legal residency (clearly an unconstitutional act) with the express hope the Republicans take the bait and start impeachment proceedings... knowing this would be totally unpopular and cause an anti-republican backlash (unfortunately, it just might work)

No, because he is a lawless, corrupt president who just earned the title "worst president since WWII, by 8% in the poll. The Supreme Court has slapped him down 13 times, 9 of which where 9/0 majority. The latest opinion was written by liberal Justice Breyer who wrote on the "abuse of power" by Obama. You might also recall he has been called in contempt of court several times beginning with the stoppage of oil drilling permits. Maybe you are OK with tyranny like this in California but most Americans aren't accustomed to it.
