The Lac du Flambeau Lions Club thanks Lakeland Union High School adm./prin. Jim Bouché for the opportunity to have lunch and tour LUHS this past week. It's been a long time since our members were in high school and have had children there as well. So, this was a wonderful chance for us to see how education has changed for the better. As one of our members stated, "Every taxpayer in the Lakeland area should be required to tour Lakeland."
Mr. Bouché, staff, and students were very gracious in sharing their experience and pride at being at LUHS. They represent our communities very well.
We would encourage you to take the opportunity and get to know your high school. "It ain't what it used to be." It's soooo much more!
