Hockey players are invited to attend the Gary Suter-Lakeland pre-season hockey camp, held at the Lakeland Ice Arena Oct. 14-17.
The camp will focus on skills such as skating, agility, shooting, passing and goaltending, to help players prepare for the upcoming season.
Instructors will include NHL Hall of Famer Gary Suter, Lakeland boys’ hockey head coach Ken Thanig, Lakeland hockey staff and players, and Lakeland goalie coach Dan Mehr.
The camp will be held at the Lakeland Ice Arena from Monday, Oct. 14, through Thursday, Oct. 17.
Group one, for last year’s Mites, Squirts and first year Peewees, will run from 6-7 p.m., and group two, for second year Peewees and Bantams (freshmen), will be held from 7:15-8:15 p.m.
Registration is $50, which is due on or prior to the first session, Monday, Oct. 14. Checks may be made payable to Lakeland Hockey Camp. The fee includes four hours of ice time and a T-Shirt.
