A golf scramble will be held in honor of Lee Christensen Friday, June 27, at the St. Germain Golf Club.
Lee served on the Town Development Committee which built the first nine holes of the golf course which opened in 1993. His previous experience, working as store manager of nine different Sears stores in the Chicago area was most valuable.
Lee and his wife Hazel donated the first St. Germain entry sign in 1993 and the second sign in 2011.
The nine hole scramble will begin at two p.m. Friday, June 27. $36 includes golf and cart, although there is no charge for season pass holders. To reserve tee times please call the golf course at 715-542-2614.
Dinner following the scramble is on your own. Order off the menu at the Whitetail Inn. Everybody is welcome even if not a golfer. Reservations appreciated but not required. 715-542-2541.
