The winners of the 2014 Papa Murphy’s Coupon Sales Challenge were announced before the start of the Minor’s championship game last week at the Minocqua Sports Complex.
The goal was for each child in the Lakeland Little League, to include girls’ fast pitch and Babe Ruth, to sell as many Papa Murphy’s coupons as they could to be in the running for one of six prizes.
But as the season progressed, more prizes were donated to LLL and so more of the top sellers won prizes for their efforts.
“The fundraiser was very successful for the Little League and moneys raised will go to helping pay for uniforms, equipment, our field, the Dugout and so much more,” Lisa Marquardt said. “We thank everyone in the community that has helped by buying the coupons from our Little Leaguers.”
