In another busy week for the Mercer track team, the Tigers took part in two invites, continuing to achieve strong field results along the way. Mercer track runs middle of the pack
It was another strong outing for the Mercer track and field team, especially for the girls, who finished second in an Indianhead Conference invite held at South Shore on Thursday with 67 points. Ironwood topped the event with 91 points.

Mercer boys drop final two games of regular season
While it looks to head into the postseason, Mercer boys' basketball couldn't give themselves proper preparation, dropping their final two games of the regular season. On Wednesday, the Tigers were beaten by Drummond 52-22 - a team they upset earlier in the season 62-60 - and couldn't take down Ironwood the following day, falling 63-50. (subscriber access)

MERCER - It was a good night for the Mercer boys' basketball team, as they topped the Bayfield Trollers 56-50 to earn their 10th win of the season.
