17 T-Birds garner spring all conference honors

The Great Northern Conference released the spring all conference selections for baseball, softball and girls’ soccer Tuesday, and 16 Lakeland athletes were awarded 17 all conference selections. A pair of T-Bird seniors also took home player of the year honors.

Twelve T-Birds headed to WIAA D-2 state and field track championships

The weather was horrible and the conditions far from ideal, but for the second time in four days, the Lakeland Union High School boys’ and girls’ track teams dealt with their compartition and Mother Nature to qualify a total of 12 individuals for the WIAA Division 2 Track and Field Championships starting this coming Friday. Girls' soccer closes season with strong non-conference competition
