1/12/2018 7:23:00 AM 'Mining 101' seminar in Minocqua on Jan. 24
A "Mining 101" educational seminar, sponsored by the Wisconsin Counties Association and the Wisconsin Towns Association, will take place at Reuland's Conference Center in Minocqua on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
Registration and coffee will be from 8 to 9 a.m., and the program will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Lunch will be provided after the program from noon to 1 p.m.
Recent law changes surrounding the regulation of non-ferrous metallic mining in Wisconsin have presented an opportunity to educate local government officials on this new regulatory authority. This seminar features topic experts and is offered at no charge.
