The Boulder Junction Chamber of Commerce is ready to race into the winter season with its inaugural Forest Frenzy Winter Triathlon with help from a $5,000 Joint Effort Marketing (JEM) Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. Taking place Feb. 16 and 17, 2018, the triathlon will combine a 9.5K cross-country ski race, 6K snowshoe race and 9.5K fat bike race. Friday, June 2, 2017
Forever Young Bike and Ski recently donated a specialized Crosstrail bicycle to the Sayner-St. Germain Wildlife Club, a value of $550. The club will be selling raffle tickets for the bike at a variety of events in St. Germain this spring and summer, with all profits going to support St. Germain's non-motorized trails.
