Traveling Trails Less Traveled

As I begin this column, the date is April 4, and spring continues to slowly stumble its way into the Northwoods, seemingly unable to decide if it should arrive or continue to leave Old Man Winter in control of the weather! However, having lived up-north in Vilas County for nearly eight decades, what we are experiencing weather-wise is not all that unusual for early April. (Subscriber access)

Traveling Trails Less Traveled
I’ve always considered time I spend fishing or hunting, as real quality time, even if I only come home with an empty game bag or stringer.
