There is no doubt that hunting has changed over the years. The population, both people and deer, is drastically different than it was "back when," and that fact is never clearer than when one is given the opportunity to sit down and talk with someone who has been hunting the same area for decades. New youth tag regulation
A change to group hunting laws has passed with the signing of Wisconsin Act 100 on Nov. 11. State law now prohibits the use of a junior antlerless carcass tag under the gun deer group hunting regulation. Junior antlerless carcass tags may only be filled by the youth to whom they are issued, and may not be filled by another member of the hunting party.

Electronic registration for the 2015 deer hunt
One of the changes to the traditional gun deer hunt this year is the advent of e-registration. According to the Department of Natural Resources, hunters will no longer need to leave the woods in order to register their deer. Deer donation program helps the needy
Wisconsin's deer donation program began in 2000 and allows hunters to generously donate their venison to those in need. In the last 15 years, hunters have donated more than 87,000 deer that have produced approximately 3.89 million pounds of ground venison.
