On Friday, June 13, a six county lake conference will be hosted at Nicolet Area Technical College. The conference will include educational presentations as well as networking time, and anyone who owns a lake property or who finds lakes interesting is encouraged to attend. The conference is co-sponsored by the Oneida County Lakes and Rivers Association (OCLRA) and the Vilas County Lakes and Rivers Association.
This year’s program will include a multimedia presentation on the importance of lakes to the Northwoods economy, as well as a presentation on how to develop covenants to protect riparian improvements into the future. All presentations will include ample time for question and answer. Each county lake association will also hold an annual meeting following the education presentations.
Registration will open at 8:30 a.m., and the program will begin promptly at 9 a.m. All activities will be finished by noon.
