Anglers anxiously await ease out from Sunset Grill in Three Lakes for the Three Lakes Fall Classic last weekend.
The Three Lakes Chain proved to be tough during the Three Lakes Fall Classic last weekend. In all, 10 fish were caught throughout the day. Forty percent of the fish caught, though, were boated by the team of Dan Wojtusik and Phil Hahn. The team was able to use what they found while prefishing to boat at least two of their fish. League of Women Voters invites public in for AIS discussion

Emerald ash borer (EAB) has been confirmed in Marathon County, and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) will quarantine the county as a result.

Boulder Junction Walleye Classic anglers brave harsh conditions
Eight teams with 16 "diehard" anglers hit 14 Boulder Junction area lakes last Friday and Saturday, Oct. 6 and 7, battling heavy rains and cooler temperatures. Forty-seven fish were caught, totaling 674.75 inches of walleye.
