The Tomahawk Lake Association will host a number of special activities this summer starting this week and continuing through the middle of August.

Eagles, Eagles Everywhere
Thursday, June 13, 7 p.m., at Indian Shores
This program is free
Learn everything you have wanted to know about eagles on the lake. Ron Eckstein, a retired DNR wildlife biologist, will share his knowledge of eagles which he has researched for the past 36 years.
Purple Loosestrife, EWM and Aquatic Research
Thursday, July 11, 7 p.m., at Lakeside Grill
Controlling Eurasian watermilfoil and purple loosestrife are major challenges for the lake community. Dr. Noah Lottig, research scientist at the UW Center for Limnology and TLA board member, will be talking about aquatic research in the Northwoods.
Annual picnic and Northwoods Wildlife Center
Saturday, July 27, 11:30 a.m., at Kemp Station, $5 adult, $3 children 10 and under.
1 p.m. presentation free
Meet new lake neighbors at the TLA annual picnic followed by a birds of prey presentation by the Northwoods Wildlife Center.
Underwater Nature Photography
Tuesday, Aug. 13, 7 p.m., at Kemp Station pavilion, free.
Eric Engbretson, one of the nation’s premier underwater nature photographers, will present photographs from Tomahawk Lake.
