The seventh annual Chill Out took place Saturday, Dec. 28, outside the Thirsty Whale in Minocqua.

About two dozen jumpers helped raise $31,725 to benefit Children’s Miracle Network.

The event is made possible through sponsorships from The Thirsty Whale, NRG Media, Woodruff Ace Hardware, Ministry Health Care, and from individuals pledging a jumper who took the plunge into the icy waters of Lake Minocqua.

Funds raised at this event will benefit children in north and central Wisconsin.

For more pictures from the event, see page 12 of the Tuesday, Jan. 14, edition of The Lakeland Times.
