Mike and Matthew Crowley will be the next guests of the Boulder Junction Public Library’s Neighbor to Neighbor program series Thursday, May 22, 7 p.m., in the Boulder Junction community center.
Enjoy a presentation by father and son photographers Mike Crowley, of LifeintheNorthwoods.com, and Matthew Crowley, of MatthewCrowleyPhotography.com, as they show you a glimpse into the world of nature photography from the Northwoods area.
See colorful scenes of nature, dramatic captures of wildlife, including the beautiful white deer, and maybe learn a couple of tricks that they use to capture these images.
Mike resides in Boulder Junction and concentrates his passion for photography on the nature scenes and wildlife that surround the area.
He has had numerous photos published in magazines and calendars, and has a following of nearly 50,000 on Facebook, facebook.com/life
inthenorthwoods, where he shares a current seasonal photo of the Northwoods almost every day.
Matthew is a travel photographer who currently lives in northern Illinois, but has vacationed and spent a lot of time in the Northwoods, developing a love for the beauty of the area.
He also loves to combine his two favorite passions: travel and photography. He has had numerous photos published, most notably photos on the cover of “Seed of the Future: Yosemite and the Evolution of the National Park Idea,” by Dayton Duncan and “Yosemite: A Gathering of Spirit,” by Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan.
Matthew posts photos daily to his Facebook page, facebook.com/MatthewCrowleyPhotography.
