The Lakeland Figure Skating Club holding two fundraisers – the skaters are trying to raise money to purchase an on/off ice jump harness.
Here’s a little information about it:
Jump harnesses are an innovative tool to help figure skaters build confidence as they start to learn new figure skating maneuvers, jumps, tucks and lifts. The harness will significantly reduce learning times for new jumps and help skaters perform more proficiently in a shorter period of time. It allows new and experienced skaters to improve their jumps and spins while increasing their confidence and safety.
