As the summer season draws to a close, there are still a few area car shows to check out.
• The Eagle River Business Association on Saturday, Aug. 23 will hold, in conjunction with Eagle Collision Center, its Seventh Annual Classic Car Show.
The show, which this year was moved to August from September, will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day.
There will be live music, door prizes for those displaying vehicles and a total of 35 trophies, including trophies that will be awarded in specialty categories.
• In Minocqua over Labor Day Weekend, a new location for T.J.’s Butcher Block & Market on U.S. Highway 51 will be the location for the 10th Annual Pride and Joy Classic Car Show.
The show will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30. Vehicle registration is from 9 a.m. to noon with car plaques for first 50 entries.
All cars, trucks. motorcycles and anything that has wheels are welcome.
There will be music and raffles throughout the day.
The Pride and Joy Classic Car Show is sponsored by Northwoods Foods & TJ’s Butcher Block to benefit Lakeland Hospice.
• The Third Annual Lake Tomahawk Lions Club Car Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.Saturday, Sept. 20.
The show is presented by the Lake Tomahawk Lions Club in conjunction with the Harvest Festival sponsored by the Lake Tomahawk Lioness
