11/14/2017 7:30:00 AM Lakeland Memory Café meets Nov. 16
Having a little trouble remembering lately? All of us suffer from some memory loss, often it is just the aging process, or over-stimulation, and sometimes it is disease. The Lakeland Memory Café helps those with early to moderate memory issues to learn how to optimally use the brain. The old adage, "use it or loose it" is so true for memory.
On Nov. 16, learn the science of findology, how to track something once it has been misplaced. Guest speaker will be Licia Johnson, naturalist from the North Lakeland Discovery Center in Manitowish Waters, presenting on "Bears, Bats and Beavers ... Hibernating Animals of Wisconsin." The Café opens at 10 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Arbor Vitae, on Old 51. Call Geri Heppe at 715-892-4437 with any questions.
