A herd of runners stampede down Main Street in downtown Minocqua at the start of last year’s Rump Roast Run.
Cow pies, rump roast and a parade of beef are expected to attract some 20,000 people to Minocqua this weekend to partake in the largest beef celebration in the state of Wisconsin.

Minocqua Lions Club fundraiser
Approximately 220 people came out to the 15th annual Minocqua Lions Club Fundraiser at Minocqua Country Club Oct. 8 where more than 50 gun prizes, rod and reel combo prizes and many other prizes were raffled to support the Minocqua Lions Club organization which supports those in need and funds community projects in the Lakeland area.
