7/14/2017 7:28:00 AM Lions Brewfest set for July 29 at Torpy Park
Brewfest, the 13th annual fundraiser for the Lac du Flambeau Lions Club, will be held 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, at Torpy Park in Minocqua. More than 40 breweries will participate. Enjoy an afternoon of live music while sipping brews in the beautiful lakefront setting and support the work of the Lions Club. All proceeds benefit Lions International and Lakeland area charities.
Dublin O'Shea will again provide the music. Many of prior year's "People's Choice" award winners will be participating and at least two new breweries will be attending. Food will be available throughout the afternoon.
The Grand Raffle drawing will take place at 4 p.m. during the event. Raffle tickets will be available during June and July throughout the Lakeland area. This year's prizes include a pair of Kestrel 120 kayaks with trailer (Chequamegon Adventure Company), four Zip Line tickets (Northwoods Zip Line), Fish the Flambeau chain with famous Native American guide Lyle Chapman (Chapman's Guide Service), two four-person Sunset cruises (Minocqua Pontoon Cruises) and two night's resort accommodation (Dillman's Bay Resort).
