St. Germain Radar Run set for Feb. 3 and 4
Discover Wisconsin and Boondock Nation proudly presents the 14th annual 2017 St. Germain Radar Run on Friday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4 on the West Bay of Little St. Germain Lake. The St. Germain Radar Run is home of the fastest shaved ice track in Wisconsin. This two day event is packed full of fun for the snowmobile enthusiast.

Boulder Junction's 9th annual Frozen Tozen, will be held on Friday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 18 along with the Boulder Junction Snowmobile Club's Breakfast on Sunday, Feb. 19.

This Saturday will be the Cross Country Cruisers Open House and Radar Run. In years past, the annual event was known as Cruiserfest and held out of Torpy Park in Minocqua. Due to poor ice conditions last year, the event was changed a bit and the snowmobile club had a Cruiser's Valentine's Day event.

Dr. Carol Elaine the guest speaker at the Feb. 18 Aglow meeting
Dr. Carol Elaine will once again be guest speaker at the Saturday, Feb. 18 Minocqua Aglow Program. Her message entitled "The Double Anointing" will be delivered with God's love and filled with grace. Minocqua's Aglow meeting is held monthly at the Woodruff Community Center, 1418-1st Avenue S [Hwy 47] in Woodruff. Coffee and fellowship time begins at 9:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 10 a.m. No reservations are required to attend, but there is a $3 door charge.

Oneida County Senior Center to see 'Cabaret' in Appleton March 5
On Sunday, March 5 the Oneida County Senior Center will sponsor a trip to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center to see the classic musical, "Cabaret," that has the distinction of winning the most Oscars (8). It was also selected in 2003 by the Smithsonian Institution as one of eight films to be preserved for future generations.

Organ recital in Ironwood on Feb. 17
Ironwood Wesley United Methodist Church will host an Organ Recital by Jared Stellmacher at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17. Stellmacher is the director of music and organist at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown.

Admission is $10 per adult, $5 per student. A reception is to follow the recital.

Wesley United Methodist Church is located at 505 E. McMeod Ave., in Ironwood, Mich.

LUHS Drama Club Valentine's raffle
The Lakeland Union High School Drama Club will be presenting the charming new musical, "Hello! My Baby," on the weekend of March 2 through 6. Set in the early 1900s, "Hello! My Baby" reboots the greatest hits of Irving Berlin, The Gershwin Brothers, Eubie Blake and more, weaving their updated classics and fresh, new tunes into a comic valentine set on the gritty sidewalks of New York.

Upcoming classes at LOLA
Writing

Like to write? LOLA has two writing classes, taught by local author Amy Laundrie. Her first class will be on "Finding the Gems in your Writing" on from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, for a cost of $35. Laundrie will give writing prompts for free writing, then examine the work to find the phrases that make us tingle, get shivers or sing. Students will then polish the writing. Laundrie's second class will be on "Memoir Writing," from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, also for $35.
