The Oneida County Veterans Council in Rhinelander, consisting of reps from the American Legion, American Veterans (AmVets), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Marine Corps League, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and the County Veterans Service Office, is the organization that plans and executes the Rhinelander Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies and also takes care of the flags hanging throughout downtown Rhinelander.
