Camp Manitowish YMCA, Inc. announces participation in the Special Milk Program
The Special Milk Program receives funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The program provides financial assistance to any public or non-profit tax exempt agency providing non-residential child care, early education care, and/or school-age child care, as well as non-profit camps for children and homeless feeding sites.

On March 2, 2017, Lakeland Union High School drama department settled in for what was to become five shows of the Gershwin-driven musical "Hello! My Baby." His service for other veterans
On July 7, a dedication of a memorial wall was held at Camp American Legion.

The wall is named for Vietnam veteran, Medal of Honor recipient and Wisconsin resident Gary Wetzel.

Prior to the dedication ceremony, Wetzel was talking to a small group of people, mostly fellow veterans.
