Book offers help for those with Lyme Disease
Joyce Laabs
Features Editor

This is a book that everyone who lives in "tick country" should buy and read.

"The Top 10 Lyme Disease Treatments" by Bryan Rosner, a lay person, (BioMed Publishing Group) is a guide to treating Lyme Disease with both conventional and alternative medicine.

Cases of Lyme Disease, caused by Borrelia Burgdorferi (spiral-shaped bacteria), have doubled in the United States since 1991. The Centers for Disease Control now recognize it as the fastest spreading vector-borne disease in the country.

The book was written by Rosner to identify 10 cutting-edge conventional and alternative Lyme Disease treatments and offer guidance on integrating them into a comprehensive treatment plan - a plan that will maximize therapeutic benefits while minimizing side effects.

Inside the book are five core treatment protocols - Antibiotic Rotation Protocol, Marshall Protocol., Salt/Vitamin C Protocol, Detoxification and Electromedicine (Rife Machine Therapy) - and five supportive supplements - Systemic Enzymes, Mangosteen, Lithium Orotate, Co-Enzyme Q10 and Magnesium.

"New Lyme Disease treatments are desperately needed, said author Bryan Rosner. "This book provides them."

In addition to educating the world about Lyme Disease, Rosner is active in the Lyme Disease community itself. In 2003, Rosner founded the Lyme Disease Research Forum, which has more than 2,000 participating members. In 2006, he founded Lyme Community Forums, which is becoming known as a hub for Lyme Disease communication and education.

Research substantiating Rosner's work is derived from numerous sources, including his personal experience with Lyme Disease, input from hundreds of other Lyme sufferers, clinical and laboratory studies, and collaboration with leading physicians on several continents.

His book not only includes treatments popular in the United States, but successful healing modalities found throughout the world.

He has spoken at numerous Lyme-related conventions and events, including the 2006 Natural Health Conference in Seattle, Wash. He is available, on a limited basis for speaking engagements.

Rosner works as a journalist in the healthcare industry and lives in the mountains of Northern California with his wife Leila.

The cost of the book runs between $36 and $45, depending upon where you order.

It can be ordered from the following:

• BioMed Publishing Group at 530-541-7200.

• Websites www.DefeatLyme.com and www.amazon.com.
