Harold E. Jensen, 77, of Tucson, Ariz., and Hazelhurst died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, in Tucson.
He was born in Decorah, Iowa, Feb. 13, 1935, to Eric and Phyllis Jensen.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; one son, Mark (Brenda); one daughter, Lisa; five grandchildren, Daniel, Alixandra, Colin, Carly and Justin; two brothers, Kenneth (Elinor) and Darrel (Mary Pat); one brother-in-law, Ronald Taddei (Sharon); and many special nieces and nephews.
Harry grew up in Decorah, Iowa, and attended Iowa State University, graduating in civil engineering and then served proudly as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. Upon discharge from the service, he joined the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, and then retired in 1994 as regional construction engineer for the Division of Highways.
He was a kind, caring, generous and patient man who loved spending time with family and friends.
A visitation (10:30 a.m.) and funeral Mass (11 a.m.) will be held at St. Andrews Church in Verona Friday, July 13.
