Jim Tameling, 53, Sayner, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
He was born in Rhinelander May 29, 1959, to Henry and Charlotte Tameling. He attended schools in Eagle River, graduating in 1978. Jim worked with his dad and brothers in the construction business in Sayner. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sayner. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed playing softball, hunting and fishing.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve Tameling.
He is survived by his three brothers, Dennis (Linda) Tameling of Sayner, Thomas (Linda Waddell) Tameling of Sayner, Rick Tameling of Sayner; twin sister Jean (Bob) Tameling of Wauwatosa; sister Joyce (Rick) Tannenbaum of Fletcher N.C.; sister-in-law Peggy Tameling of Sayner; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, 11 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sayner.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.
