Thomas J. Kloehn, 78, of Minocqua passed away at UW Hospitals in Madison Wednesday, March 6, 2013. He was born in Milwaukee March 12, 1934, to James and Edith (Hartson) Kloehn.
Thomas proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Shirley A. (Ashenbrenner) Jan. 7, 1956, in Gresham, at St. Francis Church.
He retired in 1990 as an Industrial Motor Salesmen for the G.E. Co. and moved to Minocqua. Tom was an active member of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Minocqua.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, and two infant brothers.
Tom is survived by his two sons, James (Susan) of Muskego, and Thomas (Christie) of Green Bay; two granddaughters, Erica and Jessica, both of Green bay and mother-in-law, Phyllis Ashenbrenner of Shawano.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 11, at 2 p.m. at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Minocqua. Pastor Ken Albers will officiate.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of service at the church. Entombment will be on Tuesday, March 12, 1 p.m. at Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay. A memorial will be established in Thomas’s name.
Thank you God, for letting us borrow his soul for 78 years, and until we meet again, please keep him at your side.
