Thomas Andrew Clawson, 75, of Tomahawk passed away peacefully March 14, 2013.
He was born Nov. 20, 1937, in Minocqua, the son of the late Oliver and Winifred (Berzill) Clawson. Tom grew up in the Minocqua area and moved to Chicago in his younger years. He then returned to his roots for the remainder of his life.
Tom had a quick wit, a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed practical jokes. He was a great outdoorsman, and avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved antiquing and gardening. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Julie Kampf (Rob) of Aurora, Ill., and Laurie Burnett, of Plainfield, Ill. He was the proud grandfather of Justin and Anna Burnett. He is also survived by Annette Clawson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
