Cheryl Jean Case, 66, Woodruff, died peacefully in her home Sept. 2, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. She then “hummed” her way to Heaven.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Case; two sons, Dan (Mariam) and Jason Case; one granddaughter, Mia Case; one brother, Dennis Marsh; two nephews, Chris and Tim Marsh; beloved dog, Maggie; and many friends including the Untamed Sisters – Lee Ann, Mary, Nancy, and Candace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adeline and Earl Marsh; and two brothers, Robert and Roland Marsh.
Cheryl served the Lakeland area as a registered nurse for 42 years after receiving her nursing degree from Madison General. She was known to her colleagues and patients as a compassionate and caring nurse. She enjoyed socializing with her friends and spending time at her condo in Florida.
She will be deeply missed as a mother, grandmother, and friend. May The Lord grant her peace (and a place to play poker).
Her wonderful spirit and joy will be celebrated at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Woodruff Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with funeral services at 4 p.m. and a dinner to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marshfield Clinic’s Horizon Gardens.
