Jeanne M. Shepard, 46, St. Germain, passed away Tuesday Sept. 17, 2013, at Seasons of Life Hospice House.
She was born in Joliet, Ill., to Fred and Mary (Yedinak) Shepard Oct. 7, 1966. She graduated from the Plainfield High School and became a paramedic for the Plainfield Fire Department. She moved to Gold Canyon, Ariz., where she attended the Phoenix University and worked as an EMS specialist and educator for the Mesa Fire Department for nine years. Jeanne moved to St. Germain in 2009 and worked at Home Depot in Rhinelander.
She is survived by her mother, Mary, of Eagle River; one sister, Lyn Shepard (fiance Bill Cherry) of Shorewood, Ill.; one brother, Fred (Jama) Shepard of Eufaula, Ala.; and her grandmother, Agnes Yedinak.
She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Fred.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter the Fisherman in Eagle River Saturday, Sept. 21,11 a.m., with a gathering one hour prior to the service at the church.
