James “Jim” W. Fry, 73, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Minocqua, died April 16. He was born March 27, 1941, in Chicago to James and Wilhelmenia Harms Fry.
Jim lived for 24 years in Dallas, Texas before selling his business, Blackstone Paralegal Studies and moved to Hot Springs Village in 2003. Jim loved fast cars, fast boats, classic cars, but most of all tennis.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pamela Legreid Fry; sister, Betty (Ted) Cushing of Hazelhurst; brother, David (Francie) Fry of New London, N.H.; son, James Cayo of Winchester; grandchildren, Samuel Cayo and Mikayla Cayo; two nieces and two nephews; and Quinn Huynh and Sam Huynh, who were so close to his heart.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Hazelhurst. Memorial donations may be made to Hot Springs Village Tennis Association – Jim Fry Memorial or HSV Animal Welfare League.
