Charlotte Evelyn Perry, of Minocqua, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 19, at the Seasons of Life Hospice House. She was 87.
Charlotte was born on April 10, 1927, in Athens. She spent most of her childhood summers in Merrill, where she met her future husband, Phillip E. Perry. They were married in 1946 and made their home in Merrill. Along with raising a family, she was quite active in the family floral business. In 1972, they moved to Arbor Vitae, and later to Minocqua. The last 14 months of her life were spent living at One Penny Place in Woodruff. She worked as a nurse’s aide at the Lakeland Memorial Hospital and Howard Young Medical Center. She was also a Greeter at Walmart.
Char is survived by one daughter, Lora Perry of Merrill, and two sons, Steve (Lindi) Perry and Joe (Mary Jo) Perry, both of Arbor Vitae; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Alice, one sister and two brothers.
Services were held at Bolger Funeral Home in Minocqua Thursday, April 24, with interment at Wilderness Rest Cemetery in Lake Tomahawk.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Fossen, Dr. McGill and Dr. Crump, and staff from the Marshfield Clinic, Avanti Rehab Center, One Penny Place Staff and the Seasons of Life Ministry Home Care for the wonderful care she received throughout her life.
