Jacqueline "Jackie" Joy (Sanders) Caughman passed on Aug. 21, 2015 at Saint Mary's hospital in Valpreso, Ind. Born July 18, 1950 in Tomahawk, to James Sanders and Ida Sanders. She worked with the Minocqua police department for 19 years as a dispatcher. Cremation and a family celebration was held upon her wishes.
Eula Mae Bender of Manitowish Waters and Minocqua, Wisconsin passed away on Sept. 10, 2015 at the Season's of Life Hospice House in Woodruff. She was born June 16, 1931 at Taylorville, Ill., the daughter of Edward and Freda (nee Tippitt) Sexson.
Darlene Straub-Novitzke, age 83 of Minocqua, died of a massive heart attack on Saturday, Sept. 12 at her home. Darlene was born on July 3, 1932 to Herbert and Matilda (King) Straub in Chicago, Illinois. Her family moved to Wisconsin when Darlene was 9 years old. Darlene met Joe Novitzke at a dance at Rib River Ballroom in Marathon and were married Sept. 5, 1951 in Edgar and honeymooned in Chicago.
Our beloved mother and grandmother, Barbara Ann Ross (Myslak) of Eagle River, previously resided for 35 years in Lake Tomahawk, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. She was 72. She was very loved and will be terribly missed by her family.
