Brewfest, the annual fundraiser for the Lac du Flambeau Lions Club, is approaching. Enjoy live music and more than 70 microbrews while supporting the good work of the Lions.
The Lions Brewfest will be held Saturday, July 27, 1-5 p.m., at Torpy Park.
In addition to the live music and a wide variety of quality beers, there will also be the famous Lions Club brats, hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as merchandise and raffle tickets.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the gate. Ticket prices include a commemorative pilsner sampling glass. Advance tickets can be purchased at Trig’s or the Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce.
Designated drivers and children are admitted free with paid admission. Unfortunately, because of liability, dogs are not allowed. Seating under the old white pines is limited, but feel free to bring lawn chairs.
Proceeds benefit the Wisconsin Lions Eye Bank, Lions Camp, and local charities. For more information, call 715-588-9245 or 715-588-3413, or visit the Brewfest website at www.lacduflambeaubrewfest.com.
