The Red Hot Fun New Year’s Eve Celebration is a family-friendly event set to be held again this year at the Woodruff Town Hall Tuesday, Dec. 31.
The party promises to be fun for adults and children alike with skating, sledding, horse-drawn wagon rides, chili feed, kids crafts and party favors – all before the 7 p.m. firework display.
The fun starts at 3:30 p.m. behind the town hall, 1418 Highway 47 (one-half mile east of the intersection of Hwy. 47 and U.S. Highway 51), with free horse-drawn wagon rides until 6:30 p.m.
The inside of the hall warms up at 5 p.m. with a chili feed complete with chili, hot dogs, hot chocolate, hot cider and cold milk.
Proceeds benefit the Woodruff Beautification Fund.
Families and friends can enjoy the outdoors as well with ice skating, sledding and the warmth of a bonfire all behind the town hall, in front of the fire station; a great spot to view the fireworks show that begins at 7 p.m.
The Red Hot Fun New Year Celebration, including horse wagon rides, chili feed, family indoor and outdoor activities and a fun firework display, is sponsored by the Town of Woodruff and the Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce.
The fireworks will last approximately 15 minutes; leaving the rest of the even- ing free for you to celebrate with friends at any of many fine local establishments.
