The Arbor Vitae-Woodruff School Board is moving forward with a project to bolster security at the school.
Last week, the board awarded the project to SCS Builders, LLC, of Fond du Lac, which bid the job for $80,735.
The other bidder was Nasi Construction, LLC, of Hurley, which bid $91,428.
The work entails reconfiguring the front entrance so that all visitors must physically pass through the main office. Bulletproof material will also be installed.
District Administrator Rich Vought said construction would likely start in a month.
