The third of three public information meetings will be held tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 16, to give citizens a chance to learn more and provide feedback on a draft operating order for the Rest Lake dam in Vilas County.
The meeting will be held from 12:30 to 6 p.m. at the Manitowish Town Hall. A short presentation by Department of Natural Resources staff will be followed by a public comment session.
Two public information meetings regarding the draft operating order for Rest Lake Dam in Vilas County were held earlier on Friday, June 27. Both sessions were videotaped and are available for online viewing through the DNR website.
