Taxiway project part of 5-year plan for local airport
The recently announced $1.6 million project to extend the main taxiway and repaint airfield pavement markings at the Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport is part of a rolling five-year plan.

The main part of the project, which will extend the taxiway along the airport's 6,800-foot primary runway, will greatly improve aircraft safety, according to airport manager Joe Brauer. (subscriber access)
