Vilas County, organizations to receive $400k in AIS grant funds

Vilas County and various lake protection districts and organizations within the county, are set to receive more than $400,000 to aid in the fight against aquatic invasive species (AIS).

Area businessmen believe lower walleye bag limits, mean less business

A phone scam was reported in Vilas County by the sheriff's department.A phone scam was reported in Vilas County by the sheriff's department.
The Vilas County Sheriff's Department has reported that on Sunday, April 21, the county 911 center received several reports from area residents who had gotten phone calls in reference to their credit card or debit card accounts being frozen due to online orders.
