Largest annual fundraiser for The Highground Veterans Memorial Park
This Friday, July 31, riders led by experienced route leaders will travel more than 730 miles in support of the mission to Honor, Educate and Heal our Veterans, their families and all who come to experience The Highground Veterans Memorial Park near Neillsville.
Three of the routes are moving forward with their rides by taking steps necessary to keep everyone safe and socially distanced.
Two of the routes are making it happen by completely “virtual” rides.
The eastern route is 135 miles, the western is 165 miles, the Southern route is 185 miles, the Northern route 169 miles and the southwestern route 80 miles.
The Highground thanks all the riders who have returned year after year to take part in this event and looks forward to seeing new riders join.
To get involved this year, riders are encouraged to contact the route leader for the route they would like to join as soon as possible.
Besides the fun and camaraderie of a multi-day bicycle event, each registered rider and SAG personnel will receive a 36th annual Bike Tour t-shirt.
Participants who opt to ride to The Highground will also receive a “welcome home” lunch.
