Appointment committee accepting applications for Nicolet College Board of Trustees

The Nicolet College District Board Appointment Committee is accepting applications to fill three seats on the college’s nine-member Board of Trustees.
State guidelines dictate specific criteria for board members to ensure fair and equal representation across the Nicolet District.
Two of the seats are for additional members and one seat is for an elected official member. Each seat is for a three-year term, running from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023.

Notarized applications must be received by Wiedmaier by 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb., 27. Her office is in Red Oak Center 104 on the Nicolet Campus.
Candidates must also be available to attend a District Board Appointment Committee meeting and public hearing. Applicants are encouraged to attend the meeting and hearing scheduled for 3 p.m., Monday, March 23, in the Red Oak Center Fireside Room on the Rhinelander Campus. A second meeting and public hearing will take place at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 26, at the same location for any applicants unable to make the first meeting and hearing. If all candidates appear at the March 23 meeting, the March 26 meeting will be canceled.
The Nicolet District includes all of Oneida, Vilas and Forest counties and portions of Lincoln, Langlade and Iron counties.
