Arbor Vitae Town Board approves land swap

With approval in writing from the town, new fire department substation closer to reality

It’s been in the works for some time — the latest effort, about a year — but Wednesday, May 20, the Arbor Vitae Town Board formally approved a land swap with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). 

The swap involves eight acres the town at one time planned to build a landfill on in the late 1990s, but scrapped the idea.
