Arkansas man drowns in Woodruff

A 48-year-old Arkansas man drowned Wednesday, July 22, in the town of Woodruff.

According to a press release from officer Ryan Schowalter of the Woodruff police department, authorities and rescue personnel responded at around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday to a 911 call on the Wisconsin River near County Highway E just east of its junction with Hwy. D in Woodruff.
