Awassa Trails Candlelight Ski, Snowshoe & Fat Bike on Feb. 15

February 14, 2020

The fourth annual Awassa Trails Candlelight Ski, Snowshoe and Fat Bike event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 15, starting at the trailhead behind the St Germain Elementary School. Ice luminaries will line the beautiful, 1.4 mile loop, which is groomed for snowshoeing, fat biking and classic cross-country skiing. For an extra challenge, fat bikers can also ride the unlit 1.7 mile singletrack fat bike loop if they bring their own headlamps.
Afterwards, participants can warm up by the bonfire with hot chocolate and s’mores. This free, family friendly event is sponsored by the St Germain Non-Motorized Trail Committee. Donations are welcome and go to support trail building and maintenance at Awassa Trails. There is ample parking at the trailhead behind the St. Germain Elementary School. For more information, contact Anne at 715- 614-3711 or go to the Awassa Trails Facebook page.
